Mentors and Trainers Geared Up for
AAAI Program Round 2 in 2024

In August 2023, the Qaddumi Foundation started Acting As An Innovator (AAAI) Round 2 Mentors’ and Trainers’ Training Program in cooperation with its Finnish partners from Omnia Education Partnerships (OEP). With the support of Bank of Palestine AAAI targets Palestinian teachers working at public, private, and UNRWA schools and aims to build a diverse network of mentors and trainers, who have previously participated in the program.

In preparation for the launch of AAAI Round 2 in 2024, 20 mentors participated in 8 interactive training sessions. Mentors were trained to guide, support, and inspire AAAI participants by exchanging ideas, sharing experiences, and monitoring the implementation of their projects.  Mentors will also take part in assessing participants with OEP facilitators at the end of the program.

Qaddumi Foundation launched Acting As An Innovator Round I in 2022. The program helped 24 teachers embark on their journey for innovation and come up with 12 creative projects from ideation to implementation with the help of 860 students from grades 1 to 12. Round I projects were implemented under the umbrella of two globally important themes, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STE(A)M) approach.
