On September 13th, 2023, the Qaddumi Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies to launch the “Shafeeq Al Ghabra Scholarship for Political Science”. This scholarship commemorates the name and legacy of Dr. Ghabra, who dedicated his life to advocating for the Palestinian cause and other national issues in the Arab region.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Nabil Hani Qaddumi, Chairman of the Qaddumi Foundation, and Dr. Abdel Wahab Al Affendi, President and Provost of the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies in the presence of Dr. Azmi Bishara, Director of the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and a member of the Executive Board at the Doha Institute, Ms. Rana Diab, Executive Director of the Qaddumi Foundation and other distinguished guests, at the institute’s headquarters in Doha, Qatar.
