As part of its ongoing efforts to invest in Palestinian youth and nurture exceptional talent, the Qaddumi Foundation has awarded a special scholarship to Hassan Saleh, an 18-year-old student from the private Nasr School in Gaza. The scholarship enables Hassan to enroll in the British A Level Program, where he will study Mathematics, Advanced Mathematics, and Physics remotely over two years.

Despite being fully eligible, Hassan was unable to participate in an international mathematics competition due to the war. In response, the Foundation collaborated with Hassan to identify the best academic pathway that would enable him to fully realize his talent and pursue admission to a world-class university. Beyond financial support, Qaddumi Foundation takes an active role in guiding students toward the most suitable academic programs that align with their abilities and aspirations.
After careful consideration, the British A-Level program was selected as the ideal pathway for Hassan. Delivered by the National Extension College (NEC), the program is internationally accredited and offers students the opportunity to specialize in subjects that align with their interests and future goals. It also significantly enhances their prospects of gaining admission to top-ranked global universities.

After completing tenth or eleventh grade, students can enroll in this program, which not only strengthens their prospects for joining world-class universities but also enhances their skills and academic abilities.

“At Qaddumi Foundation, we could not remain silent while a talented student was denied the chance to participate in an international competition due to the war. Through this scholarship, we not only invest in Hassan’s academic and professional future, but also show our support for Gazan youth pursuing excellence in their academic and professional goals,” said Rana Diab, Executive Director of QF, commenting on this scholarship.

Hassan expressed his feelings about the scholarship, saying,

I feel a mix of pride and gratitude to Qaddumi Foundation for believing in me and providing me with this opportunity. Although I was unable to participate in the international competition, this scholarship opened a new door of hope for me to pursue an academic path, one I would not have been able to follow without the Foundation’s support.
