The Executive Director of the Qaddumi Foundation, Rana Diab, participated in the Taawon’s meeting titled “School Education in the Gaza Strip: Where to?”. This event, held in collaboration with the Institute for Palestine Studies, took place on Monday, August 26, 2024, at the Palestinian Museum in Ramallah. Rana moderated a key session dedicated to exploring methods for enhancing educational tools, content, and the overall learning environment, with the goal of ensuring the provision of quality education.
The meeting focused on highlighting the significant challenges facing the school education system in the Gaza Strip, engaging in discussions around various suggestions and proposals aimed at overcoming these obstacles. The event gathered education experts from both Palestine and abroad, alongside representatives from governmental bodies and specialized local Palestinian institutions.
